opinions please

I've been mulling this over for awhile and wondering what you think.

Anyone interested in me doing mini photography sessions? I'm talking like 20 minutes and I'll edit 5-10 pics for $50-75. So you don't get the full 30-50+ photos to pick from, but you get a few good ones and call it a day.

Even if you don't live in the area, I'm interested in your opinion.

But wait there's more....

I've also had some inquiries about buying my fine art photos...(please excuse the explanation) as in non-portraits, things like flowers, landscapes, etc... so I'm also wondering, if you would be interested in me making my fine art photographs for sale in more official way.Thoughts?

Thanks a bunch!

Hansen Family Teaser

I'm down in Los Alamos, New Mexico right now visiting my parents and got the chance to photograph the Hansen family. Katharine is a graphic designer and actually designed my logo. (I highly recommend her!) After months of email correspondence it was so great to finally meet her and her cute family! I'll have more photos of them sometime in the next couple weeks, but I couldn't resist editing this gem of a photo right away. How great are those smiles?

nick

My baby brother Nick is a senior in high school this year. I can't believe it. Lucky for me, I got to take his senior pictures. These were all taken when my family was in town last month. It was my first time doing senior portraits and we had a lot of fun playing around at a park near my house. We didn't have a ton of time to do these, so I think we'll do a few more when I go down to New Mexico next month.

I think we are going to use a cropped version of this one for his yearbook pic.

jamie and doug teaser

This gorgeous bride is the little sister of one of my Freshman roommates. She had a beautiful wedding on Saturday. It was so fun to be a part of her day and wonderful to see old friends as well.

I just had to post a few of Jamie. Don't you love how she did her hair?
I will have more pics from the wedding in the next few weeks.

Celebrating 50 Years!

I had the honor of photographing this happy couple for their 50th wedding anniversary. How great is that? They were so cute and fun and obviously still in love.

We took these photos in front of a waterfall in Bountiful. When they were dating and still in high school 55 years ago, they took a picture in front of this same waterfall. I love stories like that!

back to school special!

The big kids are back to school, so I thought this would be the perfect time to do another special discount. From now until the end of October, all child and family portrait sessions are 20% off! It's a perfect time to get portraits done or get your family photo done for your holiday card.

Send me an email at redbeanphoto@gmail.com to schedule your session.

I'm finally posting more from this shoot!
The Jorgensens were so fun to photograph and such an adorable family.

How cute are these girls, huh?

Peek at Jorgensen Family

On Monday I met up with the Jorgensens, the winners of the contest I had a few weeks ago. What a cute family! We got lots of great photos. These were all taken at the train station in Ogden. It was a lot of fun to do a more urban shoot.

I wanted to put a few up now before I leave for vacation on Saturday. I'll post more when I get back.
