I am a Salt Lake City, Utah based natural light portrait photographer. I love capturing life's moments-- from a child's joy and exuberance to a bride's glow on her big day. I love creating visual memories for you to treasure forever.
Isn't this a gorgeous pregnant mama? I am so excited for this little guy to arrive because I get to photograph his birth! When we took these photos last week, baby boy was actually breech but he luckily turned. What a relief! I know how stressful it is to have a breech baby. This fella just needs to cook a little bit longer!
This was a really fun shoot at a very unique location. Because of the very cold temperatures we had in December, we couldn't shoot outside so we headed downtown to the City Library. The library is an architectural wonder with lots of great light. Not everyone would be into getting photographed at the library so I'm really glad the Jolley family was up for it. I love how the photos turned out!
A baby's birth only happens once and nothing compares to those first moments of newness as a child comes into this world. I will forever treasure the images I have of the births of my two children. I would love to capture the journey of your baby's birth and document the magic as you meet your baby for the first time.
Now that my own little baby is getting older, I am really excited to announce that I am going to start photographing births! My first one is scheduled for next month, and I can't wait. I am super passionate about birth and am honored to be able to capture such an intimate life moment in beautiful photographs.
I am currently working out several birth photography packages in my new pricing sheet coming soon.
If you or someone you know is having a baby this year and would like to have it documented, please contact me at redbeanphoto@gmail.com. Because my children are so young, I will only be able to schedule one birth a month, so please contact me early to save your spot!
These are photos of my now 6 month old daughter taken during the postpartum blur of her first week. I've had them sitting on my card all this time waiting to be edited and I finally did it. It was fun to be reminded of how very little she was. And how pointy her ears were! :-) New babies are so very precious and they change lightning fast. I'm glad I have photos of her when she was so new.
This lovely lady is my good friend Danielle. She is pregnant with her second (her first son) and due to give birth any day now. I took these photos last week on an unfortunately dark and rainy day. Despite the poor light and all our laughing and chatting, I think we still managed to get some fun belly shots! I can't wait to meet her little guy!
